The announcement text: Part-Time Office Manager- 2 days per week- £8-9PH- New Cross Area temp OFFICE MANAGEMENT 1. Office space - ensuring that the office space meets the needs of a new and growing organisation. This will involve organisation of our Deptford Albany office to accommodate new systems and resources as required. 2. Office Equipment - liaising the host organisation and with external suppliers of office equipment and services e.g. fax machine, photocopier, phones, regarding maintenance and servicing. 3. Purchasing - new equipment, hardware, software and routine items (e.g. stationery) 4. I.T. - Liaison with a contracted support service to ensure a smooth running and steadily improving system is operating. Also updating software, installing new users etc. 5. Other Systems - developing new and refining existing systems to ensure smooth running of the office as may be necessary e.g. finance management systems. 6. In-house Resource Library - overseeing the development of a new library of resources e.g. videos, books etc Information and Marketing 1. Publications – supporting the development of new publications and projects leaflets (developed both in-house and externally). Liaison with printers. Appropriate distribution of published materials. 2. Advocacy Project Newsletter - supporting its development and co-ordination 3. Database development - developing, updating and maintaining a project database. 4. Marketing – supporting income generation in conjunction with Project Manager. 5. Internet - overseeing future development of internet usage and potentially a web-site [initially in partnership with the host organisation] with a focus on accessibility. 6. PowerPoint presentations - co-ordinating development of this resource 7. Membership list - overseeing the development of new membership information for The Lewisham Speaking Up Group Advocacy Project. OPERATIONAL 1. Policies – supporting development, updating and disseminating of all organisational policies in line with relevant legislation. 2. Health and Fire Safety - responsible person 3. Management Committee Meetings – supporting the development of a new Management Committee for the project through booking rooms, liaising with members and taking minutes etc.
